Serena & Riley

I love Central Oregon. Hands down it is one of my favorite places in the world, and when it’s covered in a beautiful blanket of fresh white powder, it just makes it that much better. Serena and Riley were hoping for a white winter wedding at Black Butte Ranch, but I don’t think they ever dreamed of this much snow! In fact, it’s the most snow that area has seen for 25 years! To be honest, I was a little worried at first that the sheer amount of snow would make it a little difficult to get around for photos, but my concerns were quickly put at ease as Serena and Riley weren’t going to let anything stop them. They both laced up their Sorel’s, and marched straight out into about three feet of white fluff. It was a balmy 15 degrees, and these two looked absolutely fantastic; Serena in her gorgeously stunning gown from The White Dress with her grandma’s fur to add a little warmth, and Riley rocking a killer corduroy jacket in what I would best describe as a dark byzantium purple. All the friends and family bundled up for the outside ceremony with a gorgeous backdrop of a snow covered lake and Mt. Washington gleaming in the sun. The reception was full of warm and tender moments as well as plenty of raucous occurrences that ended in one heck of a party. Congratulations Serena & Riley!
