Jazmyne & Colin

From our very first meeting on the morning of New Years Eve in a Hawthorne coffee shop, Jazmyne, Colin and I quickly became close friends. We all bonded over our love of leather jackets, crushed velvet and Portland, and as the minutes quickly ticked by we all became lost in deep conversation, laughter and their personal love story. They painted a beautiful picture of their first memories together and had me at the edge of my seat while they explained how they found one another and fell in love.
On the day of their wedding I felt as if I had know them for many years and was witnessing two of my good friends giving their vow of love and commitment to one another.
There wasn’t a single moment during the evening where I didn’t glance over to see both Jazmyne and Colin melting into one another. Their energy filled The West End Ballroom to the brim with the feeling of everlasting love.
When we had a chance to step into the outside corridor for some romantic snow photos, the two of them glimmered under the winter moon kissing and laughing. I felt incredibly privileged to witness such true love.
The Yeah Yeah Yeahs “Maps”radiated through the bands speakers as they shared their first dance as husband and wife together. Their family and friends gathered around them singing and sharing this truly breathtaking experience.
Every last moment of Jazmyne and Colin’s wedding was an honor and inspiration to capture. I can undoubtedly say I witnessed two souls that share such timeless love.
