When you grow up working a piece of land with your own hands, you become a part of it, and it you. Austin’s grandparents started Vista Hills more than 20 years ago and have turned it into a truly magical place in the heart of Oregon wine country.
Growing up, Austin spent time at the vineyard helping to cultivate the land and bring in the harvest of what would be transformed into something truly spectacular. So, when Austin proposed to Dariel and needed a place to hold a ceremony of their love for each other, it seemed only natural that such an important moment of their lives was tied into the place that had helped form Austin into the man he has become.
Austin and Dariel’s wedding was some of the truest form of love I have ever been so honored to witness. Love for each other, love from friends and family, and love for the land and world around them. Dariel’s aunt officiated the ceremony, full of beautiful words of wisdom and kindness. Austin’s grandparents watched as their grandson made vow’s to his bride and stepped into the next stage of his journey of life, in the place that was such an impactful part on their own journey.
As the night went on, the party progressed and it was clear that the love of everybody in attendance, did not stop short of the dance floor. Congratulations Austin and Dariel!
