1. When were you founded?
I’ve always done weddings and events on the side for family and friends and when I lived in Las Vegas. While I thought it was fun, I never thought it was something I could/should do full time. This past spring I was unhappy in a former job and decided to quit, making this “side job” into a full-time reality. My husband came up with the name while we were at a bar celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with a friend… it’s our wedding date (June 29th).
2. What does your company specialize in?
We specialize in taking your dream ideas/helping you create dream ideas and turn them into a fabulous event.
3. What sets you apart from other vendors in your category?
I think the fact that we are new and have a fiery passion to make our clients happy sets us aside. We are two young, newly married females that get what other couples are looking for and won’t settle for “just okay.” We want each event to be perfect and exactly what our clients want.
4. Why did you get into weddings?
I’ve always had a knack for organizing and planning. This knack developed over time and I started helping friends with their own weddings and really enjoyed planning group parties. Weddings are so pretty and the ideas are endless.
5. What is your favorite part about weddings?
Besides the ceremony? When the bride and groom walk into the venue for the first time (whether it’s seeing the ceremony alter or the reception decor) and their reaction. It’s all of those years of dreaming and months of planning that have come together.
6. What advice would you give to a couple planning their wedding?
Remember that behind all of the planning the most special part of the wedding is that two people are coming together. All of the other things won’t matter and nobody will notice if you forgot to put two extra candles on each table. Enjoy every moment of being engaged and enjoy every moment of your wedding. As they say, “don’t sweat the small stuff” (that’s what I’m here for).
7. Describe a favorite story from a wedding
During a recent September wedding, the father of the bride kept clanking his glass as to get the bride and groom to kiss. He was quite the character and center of attention! I think the couple started to ignore his requests, so he clanked louder with his knife. All of a sudden, he clanked so hard that his glass shattered!! I so wish that the photographer or videographer had captured that moment because the look on his face was priceless! I ended up giving him a straw for safer clanking.

We offer several different packages and also provide custom packages. Please inquire for more details.

11. Do you travel outside of PDX for weddings? If so how far and is there a fee?
Yes, we travel and love to do so! No distance is too far! We charge $1/mi for any event 30 miles outside of Portland. We are willing to work with our clients so please don’t let that be a deterrent.
