To have a love that withstands the test of time is worth everything, but to thrive with distance as well, that’s truly special. When I learned that Meghan and Oli weren’t separated by a mere few hours but thousands of miles, I was in awe. Meghan planned this beautiful wedding from Singapore while Oliver was living in England.
The week leading up to the wedding, I was constantly checking the weather report. It seemed inevitable that the entire day would be full of thunder storms. This tends to cause stress, understandably, but no such stress could be found with this couple. They were totally willing to just roll with whatever happened. Fortunately Portland’s unpredictable weather gifted us with the most beautiful day! The wedding day started out at The Vintage hotel in downtown Portland where Meghan was getting ready. As I walked into the room to meet her for the very first time, I knew the day was going to be perfect. Meghan was completely at ease and simply glowing. And that glow didn’t stop the entire day. After their first look, and some pre-ceremony photos, we headed to the DeSoto Rooftop Terrace for their beautiful wedding. There I heard countless tales of how strong their love is. From family members, to close friends, to other vendors, everyone had only the highest praise for these two. It was an honor to be able to capture such precious moments in Meghan and Oliver’s beautiful, globetrotting, adventurous love story! Congratulations to you both!
