We’ve had a cold and stormy winter here in Portland Oregon. One snow storm brought us over a foot of the white stuff in early January. This had me a little worried for Makayla and Aaron’s wedding in downtown PDX. How could we take advantage of the beautiful urban backdrops surrounding Castaways if there was snow and slush all over the place? Lucky for us, the warmer milder temperatures returned in time for all snow to melt. This allowed for part of our wedding day session to remain outside! We had a beautiful winter day to work with and were able to capture lots of great photos both indoors and outdoors. The bridal party was a fun group to take pictures with and definitely helped bring smiles to everyone!
Traditional Chinese decorations filled up the ceremony and reception space. The best wedding dinner I’ve had in years helped turn this gathering into a celebration. Ummm, pork belly! Dinner gave way to a wonderful, tear jerking set of toasts and by this time, the crowd was ready to party! Let’s dance!!!
