Alaska. Alaska is a great place…or so I’ve heard. I’ve never been to Alaska but I know some people who have and they love it. Justin has been there, I know him, therefore he must love it right? Yes… he does. When it was time to plan for the Engagement Session, Justin wanted something in the snow. I’m sure if I pressed him, he would have wanted all of us to fly to Alaska and do the shoot there. Since that was a little far fetched, Justin, Shelby and I agreed to do the shoot in Bend. Which I’m sure was a close 2nd in Justin and Shelby’s book. Actually, the wedding was to take place in Bend so it was a perfect choice. Shelby’s mother did a great job of scouting some locations and we went for it. At one point I was kind of hanging from a rock next to a waterfall but it was such great opportunity to get a great shot. We ended up in a place with snow and it was so cool. I promise that the previous sentence was not meant to be a pun. I really use words like ”cool” and ”awesome” as adjectives. Do not ask my age please. Shelby and Justin were an awesome couple to photograph. We had a great time exploring Bend together. I’m looking forward to their wedding in July!
