What a beautiful fall wedding in Oregon. Sandi and Justin came all the way from Minnesota for a romantic destination wedding in Oregon’s wine country. I love the concept of a not-so-far-away destination wedding. You don’t have to leave the country for a get away. These two were surrounded by such a warm group of friends and family who all made the journey to be here in the PNW to celebrate their joining… including college buddies and running partners (Sandi just ran a marathon! She’s amazing!) Vista Hills was a beautiful location and we were lucky to have breaks in the rain to go outside for some couple photos. It was so beautiful to see the happiness of these two… and even in the excitement of their wedding day, they made all of their vendors feel so welcome and taken care of. It says so much about what a warm, loving couple they are. Another aspect I loved about this wedding was the officiant. It’s very rare for a bride to have her own father as her officiant. And he was absolutely spectacular. He had people laughing and crying. Especially his daughter who very clearly has a strong and loving bond with her father. It was simply a gorgeous day full of warmth and love. I was so happy and honored to be there. Congratulations to you both!

Our photographer did a great job keeping us comfortable and accomodating our requests and still being creative. So far we love what we’ve seen of our photos.
Because all our guests made a trip to OR for our wedding, we wanted to capture photos with each of them. This couldn’t have been exciting photography for our photographer, but she found a location at Vista we could bring people to during the evening and she worked with photographing us with a variety of groups, ranging from 1 person to 12. This is managing a lot of personalities (and people!) and she did a wonderful job and we are thankful to have been able to work these photos in.
