Ahh man, Valerie and Jesse were so great to work with. Everyone was having fun and it was a joy to capture. They had a very simple, but beautiful ceremony on an outdoor deck within Hoyt Arboretum, surrounded by forest canopy. One of my favorite moments of the day was their first look in the arboretum, they love the outdoors and green space, so it was the perfect setting for portraits.
Their reception was a fabulous dinner at Mucca Osteria in downtown. I’d recommended Spanish tapas from Toro Bravo to them at our first meeting, and Valerie and Jesse repaid that recommendation in spades. They were generous enough to include me on the guest list for dinner, and it was easily the single best meal I have ever had while shooting a wedding. I cannot wait to take my wife to Mucca Osteria to experience it.
