Howard & Kara

Perfect Summer days have been the norm here in Portland for early August. The trend continued with Kara and Howard’s celebration at the West End Ballroom. We met hours before the ceremony to take some pictures in and around the downtown area. Originally we had planned to meet up at the waterfront. During the week leading up to the wedding, we decided it may be a little too crowded down there so Howard drew up a new plan with some exciting spots to hit up closer to the ballroom. I loved his choices for backdrops and had a blast roaming the streets with these two before the wedding. Once the ceremony came all the hard photo work was done, so it was time to get married and immediately join the party! By the end of the night, most of the dancers had migrated to showing off their moves on the main ballroom stage, the real partying was about kick in! Congrats Kara and Howard!
