Holly and John first met while in college, where they bonded over a mutual love of animals, comic books, and video games. This was all delightfully on display for their engagement shoot in downtown Portland, where we ended up at Ground Kontrol classic arcade. Also on display were John’s martial arts skills – he is a black belt and instructor of Taekwondo – and our shoot yielded literally the best jumping kick I’ve ever been able to photograph. It was so much fun spending more time with these two and helping capture them being together. Looking forward to their wedding this fall!
