Holly and John are super sweet together, they are the perfect pairing. Their engagement shoot in downtown Portland was so much fun, and it was a joy being able to meet their families on their wedding day at The Foundry at Oswego Point. Well, it’s said that rain on your wedding day is an omen for good luck. If so, Holly and John are the luckiest, destined for good fortune couple, I’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing, because it torrented during their outdoor ceremony out on the round. They were both incredibly good sports about it, as were all of the guests, who huddled under umbrellas and two set up tents. The great news is we had a decent enough break in the weather that we were able to take formal portraits outdoors earlier. Everyone took the weather in stride, and the dinner reception was a huge success. It was so heartwarming seeing Holly and John enjoying their time with friends and family.
