It was awesome going to The Doug Fir to take pictures of Nathan and Heather because they frequent it as avid live music fans. I love taking pictures of people somewhere that has some special meaning to them. We stopped in for a quick drink to help them loosen up in front of the camera, then took advantage of the quiet afternoon to take some pictures inside of the very cool building. There is definitely no shortage for cool unique shots here!
After leaving The Doug Fir we headed across the river to take advantage of the beautiful weather and the blossoms being out in full force. We ended up recruiting some help for a couple of the shots from a little boy who had a soccer ball and a talent for knocking the blossoms off of the trees.
It was great getting to know Nathan and Heather some more and I can’t wait to shoot there wedding later this year.
