Christy & Roy

Christy and Roy (a.ka. Ace) are really cool people. They met online and from Day 1 they just clicked, as did their three sons who are all close friends now! This amazing new family shares a passion for live music… both playing music and watching bands. And their wedding was a reflection of that. If you asked me what kind of theme their wedding day had, it would be “Rock and Roll”. They even had not one, but TWO bands playing for their guests at the West End Ballroom. Their sons’ band “DND7” played during the ceremony, including backing up the groom’s vows set to music. After the ceremony, DND7 performed for the guests and they were really good! During the reception, Christy and Ace had the amazing “Joy and Madness” perform, a ridiculously talented soul and funk band out of Sacramento, California. This band had everyone on their feet dancing up a storm with their amazing music that could be described as Jamiroqui meets J. Geils. At then end of the night, you know it’s a fabulous party when your shift is complete and the groom hands you a beer, invites you stay, and the flower girl pulls you out on the dance floor! They are my kind of people. Thanks Christy and Roy for letting me capture your special day. You two are amazing and I loved seeing how you have built an awesome new family together!
