The last time I was taking pictures with Samantha and Casey in Washington, it was snowing. This time was a tiny bit different. A little 100 degree heat couldn’t hold us back from a wedding day celebration! There was plenty of shade, water, and adult beverages to keep everyone cool for the ceremony and reception. The hundreds of family members and friends that gathered for this party were treated to an awesome day. The grounds at the Summit Grove Lodge are beautiful and the dinner they prepare is top of the line. Outside of good grub and dancing, wedding guests got to see one of the coolest cake toppers around. In short, the topper included a helicopter and machine guns, perfect for our ROTC pair! Guests also were privileged to hear one of the greatest Father of the Bride toasts you’ll ever listen to in your life. DJ Kris even invited Dad back to his next wedding and give another toast! Once the cake was cut, the toasts were done, and the dancing had winded down, we still had a limo ride to downtown Portland for a one of a kind send off. We managed to catch the end of the Starlight Parade while heading to the Benson Hotel. And what do you do if you just got married and are watching a parade? You crash the parade! People were yelling congratulations from all directions, this is how you end your wedding night! Congrats Sam and Casey!
