I had so much fun at Kim and Brandon’s wedding. It was one of the most relaxed and intimate wedding experiences I’ve had in a while. The ceremony took place on Kim’s parents’ back deck, and the reception was at one of their local haunts down the street. A warm and friendly pub where friends and family hung out and brought out a live band later in the evening.
Weddings can grow into such grand spectacles sometimes, for better or worse, an experience like this really speaks to the very heart of what makes up a great wedding to me. At its essence, a wedding is the celebration of the union between two people and two families. There was a lot of warmth at this wedding, between Kim and Brandon and really just amongst all of the family and guests. We were also treated to a fabulous Oregon coast sunset!
I’m also a big sucker for taking photos of live music, so with the pub setting for the reception with a really fun band and people dancing — I was happy as a clam.
Congratulations again Kim and Brandon. It was wonderful meeting your family and spending time with everyone throughout the day!

Peter was amazing. He made us all feel at ease during shooting and came up with some beautiful and creative shots. We feel that Peter really understood our personal style and gave just the right amount of direction and feedback when getting the different shots. He was also flexible and willing to do/incorporate things as we went along.
