Brad and Taylor were sitting alone on a couch in an empty ballroom a few floors above where their reception had begun and guests awaited their arrival. They were taking a moment to reflect and to toast to their newlywed status before heading into the celebration. Taylor told Brad that years ago she was just a young girl attending her prom there in that very ballroom. And never would she have guessed that on this day she’d be sitting in the same room, now married to the man of her dreams. It was such a sincere and honest moment that I had to remind myself I was there to capture the moment with pictures, not to sit staring dreamily at a real-life romance movie. :)
Everything fell perfectly into place as their wedding day arrived. Things happened effortlessly and almost magically. As Brad said early on in the day, it was almost like this constant deja vu feeling. Slightly surreal.
Well it was indeed surreal. And absolutely a pleasure to be a witness of. I’m so happy for you guys and everything that lies ahead for you. You’re both very creative and powerful individuals that together you will make big things happen. Congratulations on your marriage and your future together.
