You ever know that guy in school that was just a cool guy. The guy that was always happy, joking and smiling and that everyone just liked being around. Now, just imagine “that guy” meeting his female counterpart. Mind blowing, right? I think this is the best way to describe Ashlee and David. I did not have the opportunity to meet David before the wedding but as soon as I walked in, he made me feel like I was in the crew. Quite frankly, everyone did that and it was fantastic. The photos were great, the vibe was great and it was a great day. I’ve done a lot of weddings but I think I heard the best description of how a groom felt seeing his bride for the first time came from David as he was speaking to the crowd at the reception and said, “Ashlee, seeing you come down that aisle……was the greatest thing I’ve seen in my whole life”. Those words had so much weight and love and emotion behind them and truly encapsulated the love in that building that night. I was amazed how every person in the bridal party voluntarily got up and said something about the couple. There were tears of joy and tears of laughter. I guess from now on, Ashlee and David will forever be known as “that couple”….in a good way. Congrats to Ashlee and David, I hope everyday is the greatest day of your whole life!
