It’s no secret that Portland has amazing summers, but fewer people know it also has that one weekend every summer that it rains. This year it happened to be on the weekend of Angela and Tom’s wedding. The couple was relaxed though and didn’t let the weather put a downer on their big day. After all, they were still going to get married, and that’s what mattered the most to them. We started off the day photographing at their home with their pets. Then went to their future home, they just bought and will start their life together. With a couple of sturdy umbrellas, Tom and Angela set out to brave the elements for photos at Tanner Springs Park. They weren’t going to a let a little rain ruin their day we had a lot of fun photographing in the rain! Their ceremony was at the beautiful Lan Su Chinese Garden in downtown Portland. It was the perfect choice for their unique and intimate wedding! The celebrating lasted well into the night filled family, friends, sake, laughter, and joy!
