Mike and Alice are scientists so it was quite fitting that they chose their mutual friend and fellow scientist to marry them. These two are also quite the travelers. When I first met them they were on their way to Tanzania. They love the outdoors and therefore it was another fitting decision to have their ceremony at the Mazamas Mountaineering Center. They incorporated a lot of who they are in this day — my favorite being their table seating chart. The most creative I’ve ever seen! It was the ”Periodic Table of Tables”. Amazingly clever and cute! Additionally, the cocktail tables had various chemistry books stacked with molecular models, the flower arrangements throughout were in beakers and there were ”safety glasses” (sunglasses customized with Alice & Mike’s names and date) provided for all the guests. Such a fun celebration!!
