WOW, what an adventure! I just got back from shooting Tricia and Craig’s wedding in beautiful Playa del Carmen, Mexico at the RIU Palace Riviera Maya. Blue skies, blue waters and people reveling in the celebration made for wonderful pictures.
The resort they stayed at is simply stunning, after first seeing photos online and then arriving in person — I immediately realized that Flickr galleries do NOT do that place justice, you’ve got to see it to believe it. After an early afternoon ceremony, the couple surprised their guests by taking everyone on a Fat Cat catamaran excursion off the coast. Folks loved it. Cake cutting on the boat? You bet. The big day wrapped with a night time trash the dress shoot with Tricia after dinner. It was late, but Tricia was really excited and wanted to go for it; I’m so glad she did!
I started by saying it, but I need to end with it too. This was an adventure, and I feel very honored to have been able to capture it.
