I met up with Sami and Michael at the Hoyt Arboretum to photograph their engagement session. For the middle of February we could not have asked for better weather, it was warm and the sun was shining.
We started off by exploring some trails near the visitors center. They brought along their friend Michelle to help us with their adorable boxer pup, Kali. Kali joined us for some of the photos, as a puppy her attention span is short but we were able to capture some really sweet moments.
Next just the three of us headed off to explore the large redwoods and find the famous redwood deck. I even talked Sami into climbing up some trees with Michael. It was a lot of fun, I really enjoyed working with these two and I am excited for their wedding this coming October.
