Naomi & Somesh

Naomi and Somesh’s wedding was a wonderful coming together of families and cultures, from the small intimate and colorful Hindu ceremony on Thursday morning, to the larger elegant Catholic ceremony at St. Patricks on Saturday. If I were to describe these two as a couple, words that come to mind are kind, soft spoken, and affectionate.

Two of my favorite moments from the wedding festivities were their amazingly choreographed first dance, and Naomi’s family singing an updated childhood song they wrote for her during toasts.

The West End ballroom provided an ever excellent backdrop and setting for Saturday evening’s reception, many guests were from out of town, and it was great seeing them experience what Portland has to offer.
