”We’d love to do a night shoot” is what Molly and Matt said at our initial meeting. My response? ”Yes! Let’s do it.” The Portland skyline from the Eastbank Esplanade after dark is magical. The catch is, well, waiting for it to get completely dark — which at this time of year means we’re talking like 9pm. We started at dusk, and kept shooting as the light faded completely. It’s pretty funny, because we passed another photo shoot having packed up and heading home right as we arrived. No I say. After dark with off camera lighting is where the real fun is! I really enjoy working with Molly and Matt, they are so much fun together — I love capturing that energy and dynamic between the two of them. It was fun you two, can’t wait to shoot your wedding!
