What an awesome wedding day Lani and Benjamin had at The Oregon Golf Club. Everyone had so much fun, Lani and her bridesmaids looked amazing, and Benjamin rocked Superman cufflinks. Actually each of Benjamin’s groomsmen was assigned a different comic book superhero — reflected in their cuff links, t-shirt, tie clip, and boutonniere. Not going to lie, I had a blast addressing each of them by their superhero callsign while doing portraits, for example: “Thor, open your shoulders just a bit — Green Lantern, let’s close up that space a little…” — Yes, this was absolutely my kind of wedding.
On hand to make sure everything flowed well was Carisa from Adornment Events. She is a rockstar, you can tell because the couple took the time to thank her over the mic in front of all their friends and family.
I enjoyed taking photos for Lani and Benjamin so much, their engagement shoot at Rooster Rock State Park was so much fun. They truly and deeply care for one another. One of my favorite moments of the day was seeing Benjamin’s reaction seeing Lani in her dress for the first time as she walked down the aisle. Another of my favorite moments was Lani and
Benjamin being on opposite sides of a door from one another, they held hands and exchanged letters. All in all such an uplifting and inspiring day.
