Yuli & Jonathan

What a fun, genuine wedding day for Jon and Yuli at the World Trade Center in downtown. It was great helping capture photos of all of their friends and family there. With all of the glass and skylights, we had such wonderful indoor light to work with all day.

Adjacent to the main skybridge level where the ceremony and reception was held, we also took advantage of the amazingly looking tall red exterior wall of the auditorium. Jon and Yuli chose the World Trade Center as a venue because of it’s wonderful architectural lines, and their photos outside the auditorium, and in the triangular shaped sky bridge itself, truly highlights everything the venue has to offer.

Jon and Yuli were so much fun! It was great seeing Yuli take the mic during the reception and help get guests onto the dance floor. Their extended money dance was one of my favorite parts of the day, it provided such a wonderful opportunity for them to connect with guests. Yuli even asked me to dance with her, too!

The day flowed so well, and I’m very excited with the shots we captured together. Congratulations again you two!

From the couple:

“Overall, we had a wonderful experience.
Our photographer was fantastic!
Not only was he a great photographer technically, but he was a big help guiding us through the entire process. He stepped up and took control when necessary (particularly during the more chaotic moments, such as group photos), while also handling every situation with patience. We could have not have asked for a more professional photographer!”
