As far as venues go, you can’t get more awesomely “Portland” than McMennamin’s Kennedy School, and because most of Shawna & Raj’s friends and family would be traveling to Portland from out of town, it was the perfect location for them to host everyone for their wedding celebration. Having onsite lodging (classrooms converted into hotel rooms) made getting ready on the big day a breeze. The sun-kissed courtyard was a beautiful setting for the ceremony, and I doubt any of their guests will soon forget dinner, dancing, and cake in the gymnasium. And of course, they had to sign their marriage certificate while in detention. Congratulations Shawna & Raj on the ultimate Portland wedding day!!
