Sarajean & Jennifer {Toledo, WA}

I met Jennifer and Sara a couple of months before the big day. After hanging out with them for a little bit I could tell that they both knew how to have a good time. Sara grew up in a small town and she told me there was going to be a lot of people coming so true to their core, they held their wedding in a private campground near her home town. I don’t think it could have matched more perfectly. Arriving at Sara’s parents house that afternoon I was greeted by the family dog which took a liking to me. I also met Sara’s dad Kenny and it was if it would be natural to give him a hug as I entered. That’s the vibe I got the whole day. We got some shots of Sara and her crew getting ready, then it was time to go. First things first, Kenny had to fire up the old Cougar to serve Sara as her carriage to the wedding. When I got to the campground, I met my Second Photographer and knew that he was definitely having a good time with Jennifer and her crew. They say you don’t marry a person, you marry the village. Well, Jennifer’s village was inhabited by a bunch of awesome. Everyone was so happy for this day. Everybody was hugging somebody…I even think I got in on a little side hug action. The moment arrived, and Sara’s chariot was pulling up. It was a privalege to witness the depth of Sara and Jennifer’s love and happiness. I mean, when a wedding has a game of horseshoes, a bonfire, a comedian toaster, high fives and fake mustaches, you can’t really go wrong.
