May in Portland can be a little tricky for planning outdoor events. Sometimes when it rains, it pours. And this last Saturday, it poured! Lets all take a moment to thank the men and women who invented large tents, they rock. Because of them, we were still able to continue on with our celebration outdoors braving the elements! We even had a few cracks of thunder during our ceremony to add a little excitement to the beautiful words already being said. This was indeed a unique wedding day!
The Overlook House is a great setting for a party of any kind. The indoor spaces provide areas for getting ready, cake cutting, food prep, and a bar! You don’t need much else for a fiesta. And speaking of cake cutting, we had an extra special cake served up at this event in honor of Rachel’s parents 50th wedding anniversary! With friends and family like this, maybe we can all get together down the road to celebrate Rachel and Roberts 50th? If we’re meeting back at the Overlook House, don’t forget your umbrellas!
