Rachel & Renn

It’s not the big gestures or grandiose displays of love and affection that are important to me. It’s the space between…the little things that in my opinion are what great marriages and relationships are made of. Now…please do not mistaken me for a relationship therapist or doctor…I’m just a photographer but I’ve been in the game long enough to pick up some clues on what happy relationships consist of. That all being said, Renn and Rachel have my love seal of approval. I first met these two on a cold dark night in December. The wind gently blowing, the ice gently…uh, icing and Renn and Rachel strutting their stuff for their Engagement Photos. It was a great time then and I knew their wedding day would be the same. So fast forward a couple of months, the wind gently blowing, the rain gently…uh, raining and Renn and Rachel oblivious to the stress that usually befalls weddings. These two cool cats were enjoying the day, reveling with their close friends, excited of their near new lives together. They were so relaxed, they worked out before the wedding. If I were them, I think that my wedding day would be stressful enough to take a break from working out. I mean, I’ve been taking a break from working out for like 30 years in a row. Anyways….Renn and Rachel had a great wedding and didn’t let a little liquid sunshine slow them down. The laughter, the happy tears, Leif’s toast…it was all a big blob of awesomeness. Any couple that takes a break from photos to go dance to Phil Collins is A+ in my book. Congrats Renn and Rachel, remember to always cherish that space between.
