After receiving a Bachelors of Arts in Radio/TV/Film in 1993, Anthony Wedin founded A Sound Choice Entertainment. At the time, the Portland market consisted of only one other DJ in the Portland Bridal Show! They now have a staff of 4 who specialize in DJ entertainment, Emcee & Planning Services. Why Weddings?
I Love the energy, excitement and celebration of people coming together. I also love music.
What is your favorite part of weddings?
I love to see the special moments between the bride and groom along with family and friends. There are brief instances at a wedding you can catch that bring the true meaning of love alive. Those moments along with a rockin’ party make my job so much fun.”
What advice would you give a couple planning their wedding?
Find the individuals that will make a personal impact on your wedding day first. There’s a lot to plan during a wedding and the individuals that will make a personal impact on your wedding day are the dj, photogrpher, wedding coordinator & Minister. Your florist is important but more flowers will be grown and the individual delivering them will not make or break your wedding day. You will spend all day with your photographer and wedding coordinator. Your dj is representing you to all your family and friends on your wedding day. Find the right people to help you before they are hired by someone else. They can make more cakes, trust me.
