When were you founded?
Rachelle Bell and Mandi Wiley founded Champagne Wedding Coordination in May of 2009. Rachelle previously owned a wedding planning company called Delightful Occasions and Mandi worked for a local wedding planner. They met through a mutual wedding vendor friend, Paul Rich and the rest was history! They worked to build Champagne through networking and providing an above and beyond level of customer service! They continue to make this a priority while training their team of professional wedding planners.
What sets you apart from other vendors in your category?
We are there to work with everyone involved to create a seamless and fun event for our clients. It’s all about team work and communication. We are there to connect all the vendors so everyone is on the same page [Among a long list of other duties ] We offer services from Month of to Full Service planning, but are happy to customize a package in-between to fit your specific planning needs.

Why did you get into weddings?
Our team is made up of planners who got in to weddings because they are passionate about design, love, organization, coordination and helping full of flawless events!
What is your favorite part about weddings?
We have so many favorite moments, but one of the top would be the day of the wedding, when all the details that have been being planned for months and sometimes years coming together and the couple’s excitement when they see it!
What advice would you give to a couple planning their wedding?
Remember to take time to go on dates – without wedding planning talk! Soak up this time being engaged! If you can, hire at least a Month- of/Day of wedding coordinator or appoint someone who will know all your day of details, so you don’t have to be answering questions through out your wedding day!

Do you travel outside of PDX for weddings? If so how far and is there a fee?
Yes, we provide service all over the world. We have a special Out of Town Planning Package that helps absorb some of the travel expense. We also have a special package for those planning their wedding from afar and getting married in Oregon!
