Last week we had the pleasure of spending the day out at Methven Family Vineyards after being invited by Cory, their manager, for a style shoot! After difficulty finding models, Cory & I (Erin) decided we’d try our hand in front of the camera. The fact that Cory & I are not professional models is one of my favorite parts of this shoot. We are truly just two past brides who were thrilled to wear their dresses again!
The weather was perfect. It was a bit chilly, but the crisp fall sunshine glowing through the vines and frost covered fields in the distance served as a perfect setting. Laura, our photographer, was practically giddy throughout the entire shoot with all the beauty she had to work with around the property.
We were joined by some fabulous professionals for the shoot:
– Lane’ from Something Borrowed provided the beautiful decor and furniture — she also styled everything throughout the shoot!! You may see some glamour shots of her at the end of this post ;-)
– Susanna from Pistils & Stamen was our fantastic florist for the day . The bouquet, flower crown, and greenery around the sets were so natural and stunning. We can’t wait to visit her at her new shop on NW 23rd ave!
– Our cake was donated by Rosycakes and fit the style perfectly!
– The sequin tablecloth was provided by Candy Crush Shop and made a unique appearance as a blanket in our shoot – we loved it!
Access to the full shoot to come next week :-)…Ready to check out the highlights?? ENJOY!
