Ahh man I’d been looking forward to Melissa and Ryan’s wedding. They are such a fun couple and I’ve really enjoyed meeting with them for engagement portraits. We kicked things off with behind the scenes shots at Hotel Vintage Plaza. The upstairs landing where we did the first look was perfect, so much gorgeous light from those skylights high above. The ceremony at the West End was gorgeous, and the ballroom itself looked amazing for dinner. Melissa and Ryan were huge fans of the famous (infamous?) night time street shot Powers is known for. At the end of the night we braved the crosswalk and nailed a great iteration of the shot — Awesome dip you two, well done, Ryan! And we only got yelled at once by a single motorist who was probably just having a bad day, because honestly how could anyone be mad at this gorgeous couple? Congratulations again you two, the party looked awesome!
