Loren & Sabrina { Portland Art Museum }

Sabrina and Loren had a wonderful wedding day in downtown Portland at The Portland Art Museum. It’s such a gorgeous venue, I very much enjoy shooting there.

One of my favorite shots of the evening was being able to duck quickly into the main lobby of the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall. It’s just so dramatic with that circular skylight high above. A show was about to let out, so we literally only had about a minute to get the shot we wanted. It turned out great, plus we continued on to get a whole lot more fun evening time shots around the area.

It was great being part of your big day. Congratulations again to the both of you!

From the couple :-)

It was fantastic! I can’t say enough about how much I enjoyed working with you guys. Your office staff is fantastic, attentive and prompt. Our photographer Peter was incredible! I would recommend Powers to anyone, and already have!

 He was so assertive and calm the entire day. It made everyone feel at ease and there was not an ounce of stress. He showed up early to scope everything out and just let me know he was there, which really calmed my nerves. He left nothing to question (which I love) and every minute of the day was calculated, on time, and made the best, most effective use of our hours together. I really felt like he went above and beyond to give us everything we wanted. I couldn’t be happier with Peter and the teaser images we got last week are breathtaking! I cannot wait to see more.

 Also – he worked SO WELL with all the bridal party and guests. I cannot tell you how many compliments we got about Peter, during and after the wedding. Also – he captured my “dream shot” in the evening with the city lights, Portland sign, old theater, etc. They are SO amazing! His creativity was exactly what I had hoped for.

Wedding held at the Portland Art Museum.
