Lisa & Paul

It’s always interesting to me how people meet. I think I saw a movie about it once where it kind of broken down how easy it was for two people to not meet. I mean, it’s almost like winning the lottery in some aspects. So many factors working against you…a mistyped word here, a missed deadline there, changing of the minds on a whim. It’s almost a wonder how two people can be so perfect for each other and actually end up meeting. Paul and Lisa met at a summer camp. Two people seemingly on the opposite sides of the universe end up being accepted to be counselors at the same camp. Lisa, from Oregon and Paul from Minnnesota. Lisa, a Duck and Paul a small woodland creature also known as a Badger. It was amazing listening to the toasts hearing about all their adventures together and apart. Winning a Ugandan swim meet? Sure. Cairo…why not? Green Bay Packer Super Bowl….okay. I’m getting a little ahead of myself. I think you can tell a lot about a person by the people they hold most dear. Paul’s friends are hilarious. Matt, Brian, Sam, Jimmy, John, Nick, Rob, Keith and Quincy…thanks for inviting me to your dance party. Lisa’s bridesmaids were so helpful and kind and were so happy for the occasion. The venue was perfect. The Resort at the Mountain is such a beautiful place and there’s so many places to see. Just a golf course it is not. It was so fitting for this beautiful couple on their beautiful wedding day. Quincy did such an awesome job at the ceremony he should look into that line of work. Then the guys surprised everyone with an impromptu serenade. You know there was a good time had by all. I love good weddings and this one will go down as one of the best. Heartfelt and fun is the formula for an awesome jumpoff to an amazing life of marriage. If this day was any indication of the future to come, Lisa and Paul are going to have one of the best lives together ever. Congratulations to Lisa and Paul. Rob…..stop doing…that.
