Ken and Kristin planned their wedding and reception to both be indoors at the newly remodeled Empress Estate in Woodland, WA because our weather here in the Pacific Northwest does not have the best reputation. The week of the wedding the weather was gorgeous but the weekend forecast was rain. We made rain plans and hoped for the best, but when the rain was blowing sideways into the room as the ladies were getting ready we knew we were moving to plan B. But wouldn’t you know it…as soon as we started the formal photos the rain stopped and the sun actually came out…for the remainder of the day! That part of the day I’m sure will be etched into their memory along with the smiles on all the guests faces as they spoke their vows and the “best” best man speech I have ever heard! Congrats you two!
From the couple:
“AMAZING! Can not speak high enough on the experience, the photos and how much we love everything.
Our photographer is a gem and am so happy I was able to have her shoot our wedding. It was like having a friend their not a vendor and she captured all of my visions perfectly!
Weather was being very difficult leading up to the day and she was very responsive and calming so that I didn’t freak out with ideas of what to do if it got bad. When the venue wasn’t quite ready with decorations she found ways to move to something else so that our time wasn’t wasted, she calmed me down when started to get overwhelmed, if I had an idea on spur of the moment she made it happen. More than I could have asked for in a vendor.”
