Kelly & Mike

Ok…ok, ok, ok….let’s be fair here. I can’t get all the cool couples in Portland can I? Oh yes…yes I can and I will so deal with it everyone else. Kelly and Mike’s wedding has been circled on my calendar for a very long time. Ok…that’s a lie because I have an electronic calendar and if someone can tell me how to circle a date on my calendar then I will go back and circle it but as of now, I can only circle dates….in my heart. I digress. The flame between Kelly and Mike was sparked a long time ago in the tender innocent world of High School. I guess this is how it all went down, Mike’s mom was picking him up and as he was walking towards the car he pointed over to Kelly and proclaimed to the world (or his mom) “That’s the girl…the girl that I like”. Boom…dear Universe, they have been smitten ever since. OK…let’s get back to the wedding. The weather awesome. The dudes, hilarious. The bridesmaids and bride, perfection. Look…let’s sum this up. They got a double decker bus to transport the party. C’mon…that’s just not fair to the other weddings. After the heart felt, funny ceremony we got to the party and the speeches were as funny and heart felt as the ceremony. C’mon…don’t be wedding awesome gluttons Mike and Kelly! Much love to DJ Hesse for pumping up the jam and keeping the party going. Seriously, congratulations to Mike and Kelly. It was an awesome experience photographing this wedding. I loved the families and friends and the sparkler send off was awesome. To end this I just have to say, “Go Beavs”.

From the couple:

“We had an absolutely WONDERFUL experience working with Erin, Mike, and the rest of the Powers Photography Team! Everything went smoothly and everyone was very accommodating and easy to work with from beginning to end. We’d highly recommend Powers to anyone!
Our photographer was a joy to work with. We connected with him right off the bat and had a great time talking the Beavers, football, and lots of other things. His laid back personality and fun outlook on photography made our experience a very positive one. He was awesome!
He quickly made a real effort to get to know our entire bridal party and each of our families by name. We couldn’t believe he was able to remember everyone. He made it a priority to make sure we got all of the photos we wanted despite how busy our day was.”
