I was clued in to the kind of epic party that was going to take place when I walked into the groom’s room at 10:00am to find a beehive of activity – family members already celebrating the upcoming festivities, and Manny as the ringmaster, somehow managing to direct everyone to get things done at the same time. At the church, he anxiously awaited the arrival of his bride, more than ready to be able to call her his wife. When Katy walked down the aisle she was radiant, stunning everyone in attendance, most of all her groom.
After the beautiful ceremony and family photos were done and we had all arrived at the reception at Oswego Lake Country Club, we were treated to an amazing six-piece mariachi band that got everyone dancing right away. Some of my favorite moments of the evening happened then when the groom’s father joined the band in song and later when the groom dedicated the very romantic, “Cucurrucucú Paloma” to his new bride. It was a beautiful and very fun evening for everyone involved, one full of culture and tradition that made the whole day so meaningful. Congratulations to you both, Manny & Katy!
