Justin & Shelby

Big Trucks, Big Love and Big Hugs is how I would describe Shelby and Justin’s wedding in Bend. Pulling up to the venue I noticed that there was an enormous ratio of Big Trucks to non Big Trucks. It was pretty awesome. Justin had a truck, his friends had trucks and even his Steve, his dad had a truck. The abundance of trucks would come in handy when we left to explore the Old Mill District for some scenery for some photos. The first look that Justin and Shelby shared was one for the ages. Justin’s embrace was so tight I thought he’d never let go of his bride. This is where the big love comes in. I won’t gossip, but there is rumor that Justin teared up a little when he saw Shelby for the first time. I’m not saying it’s fact but I just heard from someone who knew someone that overheard this at the bar. On to their friends. The bridal party was awesome. At the end of the night, Kristy turns to me and says, ”Hey…at least we were entertaining”. Yes…very much so. At one point, Bobbi and Ed decided they wanted to sit down in some river tubes. So, they approached some strangers and coaxed them into letting us borrow a couple so that we could get a photo. Awesome. After fun by the river, we made our way back to the house. It was go time. The ceremony, performed by Bernie, Justin’s Grandfather was great. A lot of laughter and lot of love. The rest of the day was as relaxed as the couple. Good food and good friends plus some FroYo and you got a party. It was a lot of fun just hanging out with Kristy and Spicolli and Smiles. After it was all said and done, we have the new Mr. and Mrs. Rice. Congrats to you Justin and Shelby!!
