Josalin & Seth

It was such a joy working with Josalin and Seth, from our first meeting in downtown Portland, to their engagement shoot at Officers Row in Vancouver, through their gorgeous wedding day at The Reserve Vineyard and Golf Club. They are a perfect match for one another and it was such a pleasure meeting their awesome families.

One of my favorite points of the evening was us driving out to the tall grass beside a fairway, the sky had turned a beautiful pink/purple at dusk. It made for some truly stunning captures. And as we drove back, the moon was rising up over the clubhouse in dramatic fashion — it looked like something straight out of a storybook.

Other beautiful moments that come to mind are Josalin’s father giving a beautiful toast, taking off his glasses to wipe away tears, then exclaiming “I can’t read without my glasses!” and Seth’s dance with his mother to Phil Collins’ “You’ll Be in my Heart” from the Disney movie “Tarzan,” her singing along while they danced.

It’s also good to give a shout out to Yelena of The Reserve – she was instrumental in making sure the events of the day flowed smoothly.

Congratulations again Josalin and Seth, you are so sweet together and it was so much fun helping capture your wedding day!
