Josalin, Seth and I had a bit of a false start on our first scheduled meet up for their engagement photos. I got to know weekday evening traffic on I-5 North so painfully well as I crawled along for two whole hours toward the Interstate bridge. Working in Portland and making that commute every day, Josalin and Seth know the struggle, and were so incredibly gracious in getting just a few sunset shots for that first go round.
We met up the same time the following week, this time I took no chances, leaving the house at 3:30pm for our 7pm shoot. And you know what? The wait was totally worth it. These two look so adorable together. They are so much fun and playful, I loved catching them just being themselves. We had simply gorgeous early evening light, and the location of Officer’s Row just across the river in Vancouver was perfect. Being Vancouver natives, Josalin and Seth really wanted to have their engagement photos taken on familiar stomping grounds — I always love it when couples pick engagement locations they have sentimental attachment to. I’m really excited to be paired with these two and am very much looking forward to their wedding next July!
