Joel & Sara { The West End Ballroom }

There are the occasional brides that are calm and collected about the day ahead. Sara wasn’t nervous nor was she worried. She knew the day was about her lifelong commitment to Joel, but there were no qualms about it so why not have fun, right? She was all smiles and even taking the time to help others get dressed and ready. The first snow of winter fell on the day of their wedding. Joel was getting ready with his brothers and friends in the next room, tying ties over a few times to get them just right. :) Sara meanwhile was getting into her gown — which, I must mention, she got from Brides Against Breast Cancer, a really wonderful organization that sells new and used dresses and the proceeds go towards cancer patients. Sara’s dress fit her like a glove and with zero alterations (unheard of!). Meant to be. :) The day slowly and perfectly unfolded. Joel and Sara were smiling ear to ear every time I looked at them. Whether they were with their family, their friends, their guests or just themselves – they were happy and loving every minute.

From the couple :-)

From the initial consultaion to the follow through, the customer service has been awesome! Our photographer was beyond amazing. She has such a great eye and knew exactly what we were asking for. I couldn’t have asked for a better photographer and photography company.

I can’t stop raving about what an amazing photographer she is. She truly has a gift! What an asset to Powers…I would hire her again in a heartbeat (do you do newborn photos?? :).

 Take one look at the images she shot from our wedding and you will see. She was everywhere, capturing so many little moments, but without being intrusive to the wedding guests. For the formal shots, she was open and knew just where to move people. Also, she was so fast to switch lenses, etc. She stuck around long enough to snap photos of my reception dress, even though it meant she had to stay late. I just can’t say enough great things about her work ethic, artistic ability, fun attitude, and professionalism.
