Jim & Lisa

Lisa and Jim had almost decided to just head down to the court house and take the family out to dinner, but then thought that the celebration of their love and commitment to each other should be as special as the love they shared for each other. Thinking about a destination wedding (they’re from the Midwest), they realized they weren’t really south of the boarder beach people, and Jim realized that his ideal destination would be the Pacific Northwest, and of course make a road trip with the boys out of the journey. They came across the website of Skamania Lodge and thought it was perfect for them, and booked site unseen. Arriving just a few short days before the wedding, their was some concern about the weather, as it is often unpredictable this time of year. But the wedding day came, and with just a slight good luck drizzle before the ceremony, the clouds opened up to show off the Gorge and provided complete reassurance that this was the perfect place to celebrate their perfect love.
