Had a lot of fun with Janelle and Joshua shooting all around the Eastbank Esplanade and industrial district. They really wanted to catch a feel of that urban/industrial look, so the setting was perfect. We even lucked out and got shots with a passing train.
In my mind the real highlight of the day was the absolutely fabulous sunset we were treated to at the end of the shoot. I’m so glad I was able to bring my lights out so we could preserve those brilliant sunset colors. The two of them just pop out against that Portland skyline. Yes, when I’m making all kinds of semi-articulate happy murmurings — that’s a good sign!
