James & Katie have one of the most unique stories I’ve ever encountered. When we first met last year to discuss wedding plans, I had to start off asking them what I was most curious about — why on earth were they having their wedding on a Wednesday of all days? Katie replied, ”my parents were married on that date.” (I thought ’okay, thanks makes sense, Carrying on the anniversary date’.) But then James added, ”And my parents were married on that same date as well.” SERIOUSLY?! They were married at Bridal Veil Lakes, one of my favorite outdoor settings of Oregon, and they had their parents there to celebrate their anniversaries and welcome Katie and James to the August 29th club. :) To make it even more amazing, Katie’s mom is an antique dealer and she provided a plethora of unique antique furniture and decor scattered about the venue. It was stunning! The whole setting was beautiful and would take your breath away. Katie and James – thank you for having us be a part of your day! Wishing you the very best!
