Dayna and Thomas had a really fun wedding day out in the Gorge. The ceremony was held at Zion Lutheran Church — this held special significance because Dayna was the third generation to be married in that church, following her mother, and her grandmother before. It was rare and inspiring to see such a strong family tie to the location. The reception was held at Stonehedge Gardens in Hood River. Such an awesome location, I loved the patio lights and the open air.
These two are really great together, Dayna was elegant and radiant in her dress, Thomas looked super sharp in his formal uniform. Some of my favorite moments from the day came from portraits taken at a pair of family properties, the orchard and tall grass we used made for some really stellar shots, and the timing with light was perfect. The second family home we shot at offered a great view down into the gorge and water below.
I also have to mention the dancing at the reception at Stonehedge, guests packed the dance floor patio, even moving to the upper terrace behind the DJ booth, it was pretty awesome. A great day of friends and family enjoying themselves. Sunny weather followed by a gorgeous evening.
Congratulations again you two!
