Danielle and Mike were so much fun to work with! They chose the beautiful island of Oahu for their wedding having never been here before. I was on Maui with my family and flew over to Oahu for the big day. Having spent a lot of time getting to know these two I was very excited to see them finally tie the knot! Danielle and Mike are very much in love and you could really tell from the way they took care of each other. It was really rewarding to see this.
We first met up at the beach for their ceremony and then drove around the Honolulu area capturing more images. The weather was sunny as it usually is in Hawaii, with a light breeze. Unlike many of my past Hawaii wedding, today was slightly breezy and very very pleasant. After a few stops around town we ended the session in the lobby of the famous historic Moana Surfrider hotel on Waikiki beach!

Our photographer was Ben and he was so amazing! After all our meetings and correspondence with him it truly felt like having another friend at our wedding! We aren’t huge fans of being photographed and being the center of attention but Ben made it so easy, giving us perfect direction, getting amazing shots that we didn’t even realize he got till we saw them, and so quickly! By the end of it, we would have loved even more time with him.
