Corinne and Dan had a wonderful gathering of friends and family for their wedding at The McLean House in West Linn. Corinne had a really fun idea for the First Look, having Dan blindfolded and her spinning him around and removing it.
The McLean house features a huge sun room with massive french windows. It made for some of my favorite indoor natural light shots of a couple I’ve taken this year! I-205 runs nearby and over the McLean House. At sunset we walked down to the river’s edge and caught some phenomenal colors in the sky. Juxtaposing the highway overpass overhead against the river made for some really striking imagery.
Corinne and Dan are great together and it was a lovely day and evening. Congratulations again you two!

Powers did an outstanding job. From first contact through the wedding, The office staff and photographer were quick to respond to any questions we had and provided us with any information we requested.
Our photographer is an exemplary model of a professional photographer. He arrived at the venue well in advance (before anybody in the wedding party) to scout the best angles and locations. He was on-the-ball as soon as he saw me and Corinne arrive, directing and orchestrating the ‘family’ shot session. Throughout the night, he was two steps ahead of us ready for whatever situation arose. We knew we were going to get great photographs when Corinne and I heard Peter say, “This is going to be epic!”
Our photographer already knew all the shots we wanted but whenever we interrupted the shooting to ask for shots we haven’t previously discussed, he was more than happy to stop whatever we were currently doing to get whatever we wanted done, even if that included a location change and a short hike!
