For a few years I’ve driven, biked, and walked past a unique looking storefront on my way to Powers Studios in the Pearl District. I stopped once and took an iphone pic of it for Instagram, since then I’ve always wanted to take pictures of someone in front of it. The large black and white mural is a simple zebra like design and part of the reason why I like downtown Portland so much, lots of murals and street art everywhere. Without telling Chris and Leah too much about my love of the urban arts, they proposed the idea to start their engagement shoot in front of this mural. Love these guys! We also managed to hop over the river a cap off the session from the east bank. The sunset and clouds looked like they were delivered straight from a Hollywood set. This shoot was rad, can’t wait to hang with these two on their wedding day!
